Local-authority configuration

Maintain the list of local authorities used for resident funding.

Who can use it: care-home managers and administrators.

Where to find it

Open Settings → Residents (Finance tab) and find Local authorities.

Type the authority's name (for example Surrey County Council) and press Add.
It then appears as an option when you choose Local authority funding on a resident's allocation.
Deactivate an authority you no longer use — allocations that already use it keep it.
