Provider settings

Provider-level configuration, including the two-factor authentication policy.

Who can use it: provider and company administrators.

Where to find it

Click your provider's name in the breadcrumb, then open the provider Settings.

How to

  1. Use Security to set a provider-wide two-factor-authentication policy (off, managers and admins, or everyone).
  2. Set provider-wide defaults — for example email-notification categories, finance visibility and shared categories — that every home inherits unless it overrides them.
  3. Review billing for the provider's homes, where available.

Good to know

  • When a 2FA policy covers a member's role, they must set up an authenticator app before using the app, and can't turn 2FA off while the policy applies.
  • Care-home managers can be affected by the policy but don't configure it.
